Less is more in Japanese sushi preparation. It is a minimalist dish, yet it requires a thoughtful selection of fresh ingredients, complex flavours and textures that must be carefully orchestrated. In this WSQ certified Standard Sushi Preparation course, you will acquire the basics of making sushi vinegar and rice, as well as learn the proper storage techniques for raw and cooked sushi ingredients. Walk away with the technical know-hows to prepare four types of sushi including Temaki, Maki, Nigiri and Gunkan.

Learning Objectives
On completion of this unit, learners will be equipped with the fundamental knowledge and abilities in preparing standard sushi with the required level of attention to details and complexity in techniques.
